On October 29th, a delegation led by the Hungarian Minister of State and Governmental Commissioner of Hungary, Professor Palkovics László, visited the state of Israel. The visit was organized following the initial visit of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Hungary during the month of July,which had for objective to promote scientific and technological collaboration between the two countries.

As part of the visit, the delegation was invited to meet with Compass Ventures Group, and discuss a range of potential projects around technology and innovation. Compass Ventures Group, a market leader in sourcing innovation worldwide and an expert in the Chinese market, shared its portfolio and scope of activities with the Hungarian delegation.

Dr. Ronen Dagon, Chairman of Compass Ventures and Mr. Moshe Kamar, CEO of Compass Ventures, hosted the delegation led by H.E. Prof. Palkovics László, Minister of State and Governmental Commissioner of Hungary and H.E. Dr. Andor Nagy, the Ambassador of Hungary to Israel.

Given Hungary’s growing R&D industry and the latest diplomatic and business collaboration between Hungary and Israel, the two parties discussed many opportunities for collaboration between the two countries, while addressing the latest ongoing changes in the Chinese market and its many opportunities for growth and collaboration in the field of science and technologies.

During the meeting the Compass Ventures team showcased the group’s latest activity and expertise in the fields of life sciences, automotive, artificial intelligence, cyber security and collaboration with academic institutions worldwide.

As a result, the Hungarian Minister and Compass Ventures Group discussed options for both short and long term initiatives, while exploring to create a triangular collaboration between Hungary, Israel and China given Compass’ expertise in both the Israeli and Chinese market. The Compass Ventures team shared the many opportunities in different fields across academic institutions, business industries and governmental organizations, while promoting technological collaboration between the three countries.
