Early November this year, Mr.Feng Qiang, the deputy director of Zhejiang Water Department, led a delegation visited Israel. The delegation had deep discussion with Israeli water experts about key issues on Zhejiang water problems; and preliminarily agreed to establish technology cooperation.
On the morning of December 12th, Dr.Ronen Dagon with Israel delegation visited our water department to have communication about water saving and water treatment. Foreign Affairs Department, Technology Promotion Center, Zhejiang Research & Designing Institute, Zhoushan Water Group and other enterprise representatives joined the meeting.
Mr.Feng Qiang welcomed our Israel guests and introduced “Five Water Treatment” of Zhejiang Province, water resources development and protection and other situations. By using PPT, videos and samples, Israel delegation members introduced Israel technologies about water management, drinking water treatment, waste water treatment, sea water desalination, water saving and irrigation. Attendees from different departments also communicated with Israel delegation. At the meeting, both sides had further intention on technology cooperation.
In the end, Mr. Feng Qiang suggested both sides establishing a cooperation platform, in order to have further communication. Throughout this cooperation, advanced Israel water treatment technologies will help the “Five Water Treatment” work in Zhejiang Province.
Israel is short of water resources, and the country is dedicated in innovation. They have world leading technologies on water management, desalination, waste water treatment, water recycling and irrigation. They create a desert oasis and the miracle of water saving.
