Major General (Ret.) Uzi Moscovici served as a Commander of the Information Technology & Cyber Defense (J6) for Israel Defense Forces (IDF) 2011-2015 and as Vice President of the Missiles & Space Division at the Israel Aerospace Industry from 2016-2018. In addition Gen. Moscovici serves as a board member in Israel’s largest insurer Migdal Insurance.

Moscovici is an experienced leader having a diverse and profound operational & technological background, deep & wide IT and cyber experience, integrative leadership skills, proven ability to deliver high levels of performance across complex organizations and under tremendous pressure, driving change in both military and private sector commercial operations.
Details of Gen. Moscovici’s work at the Israeli Aerospace Industry are classified. As Commander, J6, he was responsible for planning and conducting operations defending IDF’s computer networks from cyber-attacks as well as evolving and leading IDF’s Information Technology arm into an ultra-modern, fully redundant network of front-end and electronic warfare and logistics and back-office operation of the IDF’s Army, Airforce and Navy.
Gen. Moscovici oversaw IDF’s “migration to the Negev” $4B operation’s technology component and led the J6’s modernization and adoption of Agile and DevOps methodologies. Gen. Moscovici had direct commanding responsibility over 7,000 IT and Cybersecurity personnel as well as 6,000 civilian professionals.
Gen. Moscovici field command of experience of 28 years includes oversight of a 22,000 army division. Gen. Moscovici led and participated as an active-duty officer and a soldier in multiple combats and large scale operations.
Gen. Moscovici holds an MSc. in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College, Carlisle, PA (2011), MBA from NYU (then New York Polytechnic University (2000) and BSc. In Aeronautical Engineering, Technion, Haifa (1992).
